Environmental Management Structure

C-Level Executives

The CEO of DRB Industrial serves as the primary authority responsible for environmental management. The CEO regularly receives reports and oversees environmental performance, assesses major risk factors, and monitors ongoing improvement activities. Furthermore, the CEO reviews and approves key strategic and business decisions, such as the establishment of mid- to long-term environmental management goals and strategies—including greenhouse gas reduction targets—and oversees investments in environmental management.

Environment Team

DRB Industrial has established Environment & Safety team to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations and to prevent environmental incidents. This team conducts periodic monitoring and implements measures for improvement. It is comprised of experts in various environmental fields such as water quality, air, chemicals, and waste, who work with related departments to establish and operate an environmental management system, as well as prepare to obtain permits for the installation and operation of environmental facilities. Furthermore, the team performs all environmental management activities cohesively, such as protecting and restoring environmental capital, managing pollutant emissions generated during business operations, identifying and improving environmental risks, sharing and disseminating environmental management practices, addressing environment-related grievances, and engaging in external cooperation activities.

Environmental Management Operational System

DRB Industrial has adopted a management policy based on an environmental management system in accordance with global standards, obtaining ISO 14001 certification to minimize environmental impact. We have established a system that specifies objectives, departments, plans, tasks, and procedures, efficiently allocating and managing management resources.

We systematically implement the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle annually as the cornerstone of our operations. Our strategic focus encompasses the following:  First, establish and monitor detailed environmental management plans, considering environmental issues and stakeholder feedback  Second, develop improvement plans for negative environmental impacts caused by the entire production process  Third, assess accuracy and transparency of environmental management system through third-party audit organization
   * Verification cycle: 1 time / year(post-assessment), 1 time / 3 years (certification inspection)  Last, review environmental risks and business impacts on stakeholders and incorporate them into the overall business management strategy

  • First, to set up a detailed implementation plan by environmental management team in consideration of environmental issues and the opinions of stakeholders, and to check up the implementation progress.
  • Second, to set up an improvement plan for negative environmental impacts that are likely to occur throughout the production activities, and implement the plan.
  • Third, to verify if the environmental management is maintained property and transparently through a 3rd party certification institution (verification cycle: Once/year (follow-up examination), Once/3 years (certification examination).
  • Fourth, to review the impacts of the environmental management activities and stakeholders as well as the company’s environmental risks and issues on the company’s own business and to reflect the results on the management strategies.
