DRB Industrial participated in UNGC and pledged to follow the ten principles of UNGC and the UN SDGs in 2021.
Labor
  • Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
  • Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
  • Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and
  • Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

DRB Industrial guarantees the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining through the Human Rights Management Policy. In addition, we prevent unfair labor practices in accordance with Article 3 of the Human Rights Management Policy and uphold children's rights by adhering to UNICEF's Child Rights and Business Principles. Last, we strictly prohibit discrimination based on race, religion, disability, gender, education, age, physical condition, national origin, regional origin, political beliefs, and other factors in employment and business operations under the Human Rights Management Policy and Employment Rules.

  • Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

DRB Industrial is taking the following measures to prevent and mitigate environmental risks: (1) providing training for all employees and business partners on air/water/waste/chemical/soil management, energy reduction, and capacity building for climate action, (2) reporting to the highest decision-maker on significant environmental issues affecting all stakeholders and implementing improvements plans, and (3) signing an MOU with the Korea Environment Corporation for resource circulation and a sustainable environment since 2021.
Anti-Corruption
  • Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
DRB Industrial has processes that can be used to communicate concerns about anti-corruption and violation of human rights as defined by DRB Regulatory Management and Compliance Regulations, DRB Internal Accounting Management Operation Regulations, and DRB Cyber Audit Office Operation Regulations.
DRB Grievance Process System and DRB Cyber Audit Office are in operation in accordance with the DRB regulations.
In addition, DRB Industrial is participating in Business Integrity Society(BIS) hosted by UN Global Compact Network Korea and Korea Sustainability Investing Forum (since the 25th of March, 2022).
